The Administrative Department of Civil Service is a Colombian Institution created as a governmental entity responsible of promoting the modernization of public institutions, and its optimal integral organization, for effective and high quality public service delivery.

Mission

We lead the continuous improvement and modernization of public institutions and also contribute to the development of its public servers in order to make them closer to citizens, through research, development and evaluation of public policy, with criteria of quality and effectiveness

In 2019 we will be valued as the governing body of policies that contribute to the consolidation of public, professional, democratic, effective, sustainable organizations that generate confidence in public administration

• Maximize the development of human talent, oriented service culture and public trust.

• Implement the use of information technology and communications - TIC's - for the manage of public policies by the Department.

• Managing knowledge for effective development of mission processes and the legal powers of the Department.

• Strengthen public management as the focus of institutional development of public administration.

• Promote a culture of sustainable improvement and innovation in public institutions for better management practices.

• Establish and implement guidelines for developing adequate organizations to the needs of clients and stakeholders and the requirements of good service.
